Dear Kinejapan friends in Tokyo, 

Nippon Connection, which takes place 18.-22., invited filmmaker Adachi Masao to Frankfurt to show his new film. Only his film will be coming. The invitation sparked a brouhaha due to the fact that Adachi was a member of the red army, and although it initially looked as if he would recieve permission to leave the country for a visit, Adachi was finally refused a  passport. 

We are still hoping to interview him after the screening, but by using iChat or video  conferencing. We are looking for someone in Tokyo that uses video  conferencing (via ichat/apple), and that would be willing to host Adachi on the Japan end. This would be Friday around 7:00 am.
