KCVIII appreciation

Nippon connection and Kinema Club were both great events, and I would
like to join Aaron Gerow in expressing all my thanks to Alex Zahlten
and every members of the staff. Last but not least, I would like to
thank Aaron Gerow and Ab? Mark Nornes, who both made great job heading
all panels.

For me I shall say that I am eager to hear everybody's comments, for I
didn't have time to dive into this huge selection of films (except for
a couple of them).

Being French I felt very sorry and some kind of guilty hearing Adachi
Masao's message before the screening of his film : according to him
French government should be charged (among others, that is, EU
administration) for not letting him entering Europe. All I can say is
that I really hope that such an impressive film (like it or not) will
soon be screened in France (as a kind of ironical revenge perhaps).
