The papers are reporting the results of the Kinema Junpo poll of
critics of the best ten films of 2006. It seems a typical KineJun
result: mostly established films and established directors with few
surprises. As always, it is a good guide to what major critics thought
of the year.

2. Yureru
3. Yuki ni negau koto
4. Kamiya Etsuko no seishun
5. Bushi no ichibun
6. Kiraware Matsuko no issho
7. Hakase no aishita sushiki
8. Ashita no kioku
9. Kamome shokudo
10. Camus nante shiranai

Best Director: Negishi Kichitaro (Yuki ni negau koto)
