Hiromasa Nomura's Aizen katsura (1938)

It looks like there is now a relatively cheap Taiwanese edition of Nomura's "Aizen katsura" and its two sequels (no English subtitles of course -- and possibly an annoying logo in the upper left corner -- if this company's previous Imai set is any guide):

I know the first film of this trilogy is considered important -- anyone know anything about the sequels?
