The late Kei Kumai twice filmed the story of Rikyu, with - of course - significant roles for Hideyoshi. The films are Oginsama (1978), in which Toshiro Mifune plays the Shogun opposite Takeshi Shimura's Rikyu, and Death of a Tea Master (1989), which was overshadowed critically by Teshigahara's version.
