AW: Girl Who Leapt Through Time - film versions

Yakushimaru Hiroko was neither in the film nor the TV drama. In the film the heroine Kazuko was played by Harada Tomoyo, in the 1985 TV-drama by Minamino Yoko.

The oldest adaptation of Tsutsui's novel, by the way, that Aaron forgot to mention, was an NHK drama made already in 1972. The title of the NHK drama, however, was not "Toki o kakeru shojo", but "Taimu torabera (Time Traveler)".

Ironically my wife and I were just discussing the '83 movie, which was popular in her youth. She said it starred the same actress from Sailor Suit and Machine Gun., Yakushima Hiroko. Aaron, do you recall if Yakushima was in the TV series rather than the film?
