It was third at the box office last week, but according to Mr. Texas 
(http://eigaconsultant.cocolog-nifty.com), it's opening weekend take 
was only 53% of Otokotachi no Yamato and only 37% of Letters from Iwo 
Jima. It is thus a hit, but not a phenomenal one. Critics are also 
mercilessly panning it.
