The Department of Film at York University presents

Cinema/Movement Conference & Film Series

An international conference and film series focusing on the vibrant and
controversial
interaction between political action and experimental filmmaking in Japan in
the 1960s and
1970s.

The film series, screening Nov. 12, 15, 16 & 19, offers a rare opportunity
to see works by
Jonouchi Motoharu, Oe Masanori, the Nihon University Cinema Club collective,
and Okabe
Michio's groundbreaking feature,*Crazy Love*. Events take place at York U
and the University of Toronto.

Thursday Nov 15 at 7pm, Accolade East 004, York University.
