Self-Introduction and Rikidozan

Dear KineJapan Subscribers,

my name is Bjoern Vondran and I?m doing Japanese Studies at the University 
of Leipzig in Germany. Currently I?m writing my graduation paper and I got 
your link from Ms. Mitsuyo Wada-Marciano, who I?ve been asking about the 
biopic "Rikidozan", which is part of my paper.
I?m trying to contrast the ways in which Rikidozan was constructed as 
"Hi-ro" regarding his role in the 50?s and looking at his presentation in 
the movie "Rikidozan: A Hero Extraordinary", which marks a new peek in the 
remembrance of him.
Concerning this movie I like to pose some questions to the list:

First of all, I tried to get some box-office information about "Rikidozan" 
in Japan, but I couldn?t find anything. I checked Asahi/Yomiuri but they 
only showed the top-ten.
Does anyone know where I can find box-office facts for movies in Japan?

And I would be very glad if someone who watched the movie could tell me his 
opinion about it. As it is for my paper, I?m very interested in the way his 
identity / (trans)nationality is displayed.
