Hello Mathieu,

In case Roland hasn?t already answered this . . . ;-)

It?s from Paul Nizan?s Aden, Arabie, written in the 1930s but read in the
1960s after being republished with an introduction by everyone?s favorite
Marxist-existentialist, Jean-Paul Sartre. Hot stuff! I hope you?re going to
juxtapose it with the war ditty in the background in the subtitles? plenty
of room for ?abuse? there I think.

Michael

 Hi Michael,

Actually I have been trying to zoom some caps and it gave anything but
blurred katakanas... I shall try to post it but my computers and dvd players
are both in a bad mood these days.

The japanese text goes like this :

??????????????????????????????????????
??????????????????????????????????????
?????????????????????????????????????
??????????????????????????????????????
?????????

and so on... (no difficulties here for translation, but once again I would
like to find the original text or a french version to be as accurate as
possible)

Thanks

Mathieu
