Japanese Films for local exhibition

Hi,

I'm trying, with a local bar/arthouse cinema, to put together a japanese 
film programme. It would seem that the Japan Foundation are very unhelpful - 
unable to tell you what they have and all that.

Are there any other way to get the films shown legally?

We were thinking of showing a broad spectrum of Japanese films from the 
classics to more contemporary films. The main argument behind it is that 
local Luxembourgish cinema owners refuse to show Japanese film as "there is 
no audience for it" not realizing their responsability in educating an 
audience to other film cultures. I should also add that we'll most likely 
have to show them off DVD as the place is only equipped with a projector.
