[Isabella Lapalorcia]

My name is Isabella Lapalorcia. I work at Japan Cultural Institute in Rome,
one of the 19 overseas office of Japan Foundation (Tokyo).
I'm not a specialist of Japanese cinema, but I do all my efforts to
understand and promote japanese cinema in Italy as I work as film programmer
together with my Japanese collegue, translating materials from japanese to
italian regarding japanese films and film makers.
In the last 4-5 years I was out of the office for a long period. Now that
I'm back to my office, I would like to join again the list in order to
improve my knowledge of Japanese films and film directors.

>From the last week (Feb. 12th) we started a new project, called "ECCENTRICHE
VISIONI". I give you some information in Japanese, but you can look at the
