Miike at Yasukuni?

I haven't seen this anime, but judging from the info on the blog Don mentioned and the box art, there is a connection with the three Kumamoto Monogatari shorts Miike made a few years ago. The back cover carries the logo of the same production company, BULL-X, and the scriptwriter is also the same person, Era Itaru.
The two films both have a Kumamoto connection - the intro seems to be a historical piece about the natives welcoming the emperor, while the protagonist of the main episode is a submarine captain born in the area.
I'm curious to see it, but like Aaron I have no intention of financing Yasukuni.
