LECTURER IN FILM STUDIES
Applications are invited for the above position. The vacancy has
arisen as part of the on-going commitment by King's College to
develop further the activities of the Film Studies department.
Applicants with research interests in Silent cinema, World cinema and/
or European cinema are particularly welcome. However, applications in
any area of film studies will be considered.
Candidates are expected to combine excellence in teaching (at
undergraduate and graduate level) with an established or developing
research and publication profile, and commitment to administration.
This is a permanent post to be taken up on 1st September 2008 or as
soon as possible thereafter by mutual agreement. The appointment
will be made within the salary range ?28,289 to ?41,545 per annum
plus ?2,323 London Allowance per annum, depending on experience.
