Although it's not officially supported by Microsoft, you can still find open 
source programs that will let you install IE 7 without having to use 
bootcamp. I think it's called ie4osx. It won't harm your computer at all, 
it's just a practical way to solve this problem. The new OSX is pretty good 
when it comes to emulators for running Microsoft stuff, since they knew 
these sort of things would happen...
