Cannes Sonata

Greetings from Cannes. I saw Tokyo Sonata here and, as reported elsewhere, it's a very carefully made dysfunctional family drama that veers into comic and absurd territory in the second half, somewhat like KK's License to Live. The ending brought many in the audience to tears.
