Japanese train films

My favorite train scene is a very extended one in Naruse's "Apart From Us", featuring the young leads on a trip to visit the girl's family. This is not only charming in terms of content -- but technically quite impressive (clearly shot in a real moving train).
There is a set of marvelous mother-daughter train scenes in Somai's criminally neglected Ohikkoshi (book-ends around the extended -- and stunning -- climax of the film).
