K?ichi Sait?'s "Yakusoku" (1972) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0224421/ begins and ends with very beautifully shot train scenes, involving Kishi Keiko and Hagiwara Kenichi. Also as a remarkably nostalgic score by Miyagawa Yasushi...
