Montreal's World Film Festival has been on a road to nowhere for the last 
few years, but it still has an official competition.

Grand Prix : Takita's Okuribito
and
Best Screenplay : Nobody to Watch Over Me

this being said, the selection has been qualified as the most uninspiring 
one in years. As I haven't seen these two movies yet, I can't comment on 
their value - maybe someone else could
