Research projects or publications: I edited The worlds of Japanese Popular
Culture (C*UP 1998).  * My forthcoming book, Remaking Kurosawa, is due out
on 26th of May with Palgrave Publishers.
Interests with regard to Japanese film and moving image media: I am now
beginning to think about a book on remaking horror films and will be in
Japan at the end of May to try and sort out contacts.
