Speaking of dramas, wasn't there a detective show that aired within the last few years involving a biracial man?

One interesting way of addressing the issue is to look at the career 
of Ken Sanders, an actor, singer, and now often voiceover narrator who 
was the son of a black American soldier and a Japanese woman. In the 
60s, he often played blacks or "halfs" on TV or in Japanese films like 
Stray Cat Rock Sex Hunter.
