The Cove in Japan?

Brian,

Yes, I am curious about that too. At
http://www.cinematoday.jp/page/N0019032 a 30 July article concludes:
????????????????????????????????????
????????????????????????????????????
????????????????????

The bloggers are pretty busy discussing this film based on their viewing
of trailers and interviews. Conservative bloggers are crying racism and
hypocrisy. Some are calling westerners (and the filmmaker more
specifically), hypocrites because they eat beef/cows/pigs. As one
blogger said of dolphins, 'after all, they are called "sea pigs" in
Japanese and they look like hotdogs'. Addressing the point of the
radically high mercury levels in dolphin meat, other bloggers argue that
in small quantities it is no problem to eat the meat or feed it to
children who eat school lunches ??. The slaughtering practices don't
get discussed in any of the blogs I've read. Others take issue with the
fact that the filming was done illegally. In short, the blogs I've seen
are quite negative about the film. Perhaps that means the film won't be
released there.
