Academy Awards

[Eija Niskanen]

Channel 4 reporters are contemplating that these two films show a new,
more contemporary side of Japanese film: Okuribito is not jidaigeki
but gendaigeki, and Kato Kunio's animation is not manga style but
European-style art animation.
