About pop stars and romcoms

Another film that doesn't quite fit what you're looking for is *Perfect Blue
*. It's been a long time since I've watched the anime, but I watched the
Toshiki Sato version last night.
It's certainly not a comedy (or a great film for that matter), but it does
involve a man that is a bit too obessed with an up and coming idol. They
seem to almost start a relationship, but it sours quickly.
Kinda grasping at straws, but I thought it might be worth checking out.
