Sabu's Monday (2000) mainly shows a drunken man on a rampage, however in the closing scenes gets more symbolic and I think it could be what you are looking for.
Also, if I remember correctly, Kankurou Kudou's Mayonaka no Yaji-san Kita-san (2005) has a scene featuring a dream of a mushroom-intoxicated hero, which might be interesting as the whole movie is done in heavily psychedelic aesthetic, so the interior-exterior boundary gets blurred at this point.
