Soda's Mental, Mannix's Rain Fall .... 3 screenings at the FCCJ Tokyo

Dear KineJapanners,

This email serves as a reminder that KineJapan members are welcome at  
screenings (often from DVD) held at the Kisha Club in Yurakucho  
(Tokyo), the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan.  Although the  
FCCJ is a private club, interested KineJapan members can sign up for  
screenings there by contacting Karen Severns at kjs30 at gol.com

Descriptions of three upcoming screenings with special guests can be  
found below by following the link beneath each film title.  Given the  
recent acclaim of Kurosawa Kiyoshi's Tokyo Sonata, KineJapanners  
might be especially interested in Rain Fall,  directed by Max Mannix  
who was screenwriter for the former film.  But you're far more likely  
to find me at Soda's Mental.
