Benjamin Brodsky and "Beautiful Japan"

Hello to all!

After a few years following this list I decided to come up with my
question as well.

Soon I'm planning to make a small presentation of 15 minutes cut
Benjamin Brodsky's "Beautiful Japan" (the only digital version
available?).


I'll have a small talk before that mainly about Ainus, but I would
like to say something about B. Brodsky and his work as well. The
problem is, I didn't find much about him. To tell the truth, the more
serious looking article about him didn't give me much.

From my point of view much more interesting is small article from
local newspapers of "Red Bluff High School", which seems to be real.

Still, does anybody have some source or more informations about life
and activity of B. Brodsky? Or specifically about making of the
"Beautiful Japan"?
