Hi,

Hussain pointed out that the address I posted was incorrect. Try this
one:

http://www.afc.ryukoku.ac.jp/Komon/kurosawa/index.html

And the folks at the Kurosawa Akira website have already started a
bilingual table of contents, since much of the content is photographic
and none of the site is in English.

Variety's Mark Schilling picked up on the story as well:

Ryukoku wraps Kurosawa project
Tokyo university digitalizes 27,431 items
By MARK SCHILLING
TOKYO -- Kurosawa Production and Tokyo-based Ryukoku University have
completed a project to digitalize 27,431 items belonging to late
helmer Akira Kurosawa, the two partners announced on Tuesday.

In March 2005, Ryukoku began digitalizing scripts, notes, photos and
other materials used to make Kurosawa's 30 pics, including never-
before-seen continuity drawings from "Seven Samurai" and "Ran."

The materials have been uploaded to Ryukoku's website at: http://www.afc.ryukoku.ac.jp/Komon/kurosawa/index.html

Kurosawa Production, headed by the helmer's son, Hisao Kurosawa,
undertook the project to preserve Kurosawa's physical legacy, which
has been deteriorating since Kurosawa's death in September 1998.
Meanwhile, Ryokoku has an established track record in digitalizing old
manuscripts, leading Kurosawa to partner with them for the project.
