My impression -- and somebody please correct me if I'm wrong -- is  
that KineJapan is presently in communication with the SCMS about  
compiling a list of people who still want to go to Tokyo, and that we  
should wait on the survey for the moment. It may be possible to just  
transfer all the information directly from SCMS, rather than asking  
everybody to enter it again.

Some meeting space at University of Tokyo is also under investigation,  
and that would certainly be more central than Odaiba.

Whether there might be facilities to display video clips is another  
issue, as I'm sure many participants would like to screen short clips  
as part of their presentation.
