Sheffield Docfest has announced its film programme for 2009
The Japanese documentary strand is at
http://sheffdocfest.com/films/by_country
and select the country.
It includes Imamura's Nippon sengo shi Madamu onboro no seikatsu on the morning of 5 November and four Kawase docs, all apparently on the morning of Saturday 7th.
