Dear KineJapanners,
Please consider attending the following screening to be held this Friday at Meiji Gakuin University.
Iwasa Hiroki has worked on a number of films by out, gay director Imaizumi Koichi, often in the role of producer and musician.
Iwasa is active as an experimental electronic musician.
Here's an opportunity to see some of his video work. A bilingual description is attached. (351 KB)
You can find more information about Iwasa and links to his related projects, including Imaizumi's Habakari Cinema, here:
http://www.shiroari.com/habakari/eletrico/PEixe_eletrico.html
The screening is being organized by Mizoguchi Akiko and myself, but it wouldn't be possible without the support of Ayako Saito and the Department of Art Studies at Meiji Gakuin University.
Please consider coming if you're in Tokyo and have an interest in low-budget, personal DV work.
If you have questions, please send them my way.
I hope 2010 brings peace to us all.
Yours sincerely,
Jonathan M Hall
