Dear all,
I've requested a PDF file from the link Mark suggested, so hopefully that should work out. Thanks for the help everyone!
Michael.

Michael,
Aaron's mention of "clippings files" jogged my memory...
This might be what you're looking for:

It is thus not easy to preserve (a library would have to specially bind it to put it on the shelf). I would not be surprised if some archives just decide to avoid the trouble and put it in their clippings files or some other special collection. You might have to be creative to find it.
Yale's copy seems to be missing, unfortunately. I have a copy in my files, but back at Yale (I'm in Japan).

I just checked the Japan Foundation library, but they don't list a copy in their online catalog. WorldCat has no results for Japan at all, actually. You might try contacting both the Cinematheque Ontario and the JF. Maybe they can provide you with a copy.

My name is Michael Smith and I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Leeds (UK) looking at the topic of female characters in early postwar Japanese cinema, particularly in the films of Mizoguchi, Naruse and Ozu.

I'm trying to find a copy/access to the 1996 booklet 'Mizoguchi the Master', which was edited by Gerald O'Grady. It's been out of a print for a while, and I can't seem to be able to trace it through any British libraries. I'm sure many list members are familiar with it and have used it in their own work, so I hope somebody can point me in the right direction!

Regards,

Michael
