Interests with regard to Japanese film and moving image media:I'm a cinephile 
with a long-time interest in Japanese film. I worked for many years as an 
independent programmer in Seattle, also doing time as programmer and publicist 
for the Seattle International Film Festival and communications director for 
Northwest Film Forum. Since moving to Japan 4 years ago, I've been writing on 
contemporary Japanese cinema.
