Hana Washitani and Yuka Kanno for the upcoming SCMS conference.  They're looking

We are looking for someone to present with us on a panel at the upcoming SCMS
conference.  The theme of our proposal is "Geisha Girls," including
representations of geisha outside of Japan, as well as of red light districts
and prostitution in any period.  We would like to hear from anyone with an
interest in the characteristically Japanese image of "geisha."
