Women in movie biz talk at FCCJ

Dear KInejapaners,

though half Finnish, the following event might be of interest to some
Kinejapaners.

A talk event: “Women in the Movie Business”, Sunday, 2nd of October,
14.00-15.30 at FCCJ.
Finnish film director Zaida Bergroth (Last Cowboy Standing, The Good
Sun), who is visiting Tokyo for the Finland Film Festival, and
producer Yukie Kito will discuss women and their opportunities in the
global movie industry. Yukie Kito has worked as a producer in several
well known films with the likes of Richard Linklater, David Cronenberg
and Ethan Hawke among others. In Japan one of her productions was
Tokyo Sonata, directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. The event is arranged by
The Embassy of Finland in Tokyo. It will take place at The Foreign
Correspondents' Club of Japan in Yurakucho.

Because of the limited amount of seats, a registration is required for
the event. Register by e-mail: sanomat.tok at formin.fi; Write ”talk
event” in the subject field and the names of participants in the
message part. The Embassy will confirm the participation via e-mail by
the 30th of September.
