[KineJapan] Nomura Yoshitaro

Harikomi I saw there, Zero no shōten I brought back as a DVD copy due to scheduling clashes.  I enjoyed both a lot and still remember well some key scenes.
The book is a collection of essays of varying quality.  I'm sure you know to pre-order at the BFI as not everything is stored on site.

Please give us a heads-up in advance for your screenings of Japanese films, Tom, so we can do our best to be there.

    Besides the entry in Alex's Critical Handbook ; Harikomi, 1958, and Zero no shōten, 1961, both showed at San Sebastian in 2008 and so must get some mention in Japon en Negro, which is in both Spanish and English and is in the BFI library.

    Further than that in the UK, I'm not sure.
