Assistant Professor, Modern/Contemporary Japanese Literature, Film,
Cultural Studies Princeton University. The Department of East Asian
Studies at Princeton University invites applications for a tenure-track
assistant professor in Japanese literature, film, or cultural studies
with a focus on modern or contemporary Japan. The successful candidate
should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research.
Candidates should submit a vita, detailed letter of application,
writing sample (25 pages max), dissertation abstract and chapter
outline, and three letters of recommendation. A Ph.D. must be in hand
or expected by September 1, 2014.

The review of applications will begin on *October 15, 201*3. Applications
