We have a great many documentary films concerning Japan, maybe 250 or so, we
specialise in all footage pre- 980 but we are very good at 1900 to 1950

I don't know we have any of the companies you mention however, these may
have been mostly shot by companies outside Japan

Hello everyone,

 

a colleague of mine is searching for an archive in Japan that has a strong
collection of corporate films (both those made for internal and external,
i.e. promotional, purposes). Since many corporate-funded films will be
cataloged under documentary, such as many of the Iwanami films, the usual
suspects for documentary film will be a good place to start, but does anyone
know of an archive with an especially strong collection of films
produced/funded by Keidanren companies? Or, if not film archives, any other
possible resources to see such films?
