JVTA will host a special seminar & live performance on Sunday, February 23
by Mr. Ichiro Kataoka, one of the foremost katsudoshashin-benshi, silent
film narrator, today.
He will talk about his fascination with silent films and his unique view on
the role of benshi in modern Japan along side with live performance for two
classic films from Japan and abroad.
