The Foreign Correspondents' Club in Yurakucho is screening Shingo Ota's
moving documentary THE END OF THE SPECIAL TIME WE WERE ALLOWED on July 24,
with Ota there for the Q&A. The film has been shortened since its
screenings at Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival and Nippon
Connection, and is worth a repeat showing for those who've already seen it.


Also, mark your calendars for August 7: FCCJ will screen Sion Sono's TOKYO
TRIBE, with the auteur himself rumored to be in attendance. A full
announcement is coming soon.


Since FCCJ is a private club, you must reserve your seats through Karen
