[KineJapan] Special programme on Japanese experimental cinema in Spain

Dear KineJapaners,

Maybe some of you are interested in the special programme on Japanese experimental cinema organized by the (S8) Peripheral Film Festival in A Coruña as part of the activities of the Spain–Japan Dual Year.

In addition, the festival will open with a screening of Ito Daisuke's "Jirokichi the Rat" (1931) accompanied by a live benshi narration and shamisen music. Later, a lecture about silent cinema in Japan will be held too.
