[KineJapan] Copyright-free images

Dear Mark,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
I’m afraid that my book would not be completely considered as “academic”,
since the publisher is a big company in Italy, not only related to academic
works.
I would use some stills taken from DVDs, but I wonder if the rights belong
to the producers of the DVDs or to the original production companies, if
still existing.
