[KineJapan] free screening of the re-mastered version of Tampopo in Tokyo

Nihon Eiga Broadcasting Corp., which operates the BS Nihon Eiga Channel (BS channel 255), confirmed that a 4K digital remastered version of Juzo Itami’s Tampopo was released across the United States, starting at New York's Film Forum in October of this year. This was the first release of Tampopo in 30 years in the U.S. The same 4K digital release will have a limited one-night celebratory screening (with English subtitles) on Friday, January 13, 2017 starting at 7:30pm at Toho Cinemas Nichigeki, Screen 3 in Yurakucho, Chiyoda, Tokyo.

Screening Overview
 Film: Tampopo(4K digital remaster) *Shown with English subtitles
 Date: Friday, January 13, 2017. Doors open at 18:30, screening at 19:30 (ending at approximately 21:30) 
 The actress Nobuko Miyamoto will greet the audience before screening.
 Theater: Toho Cinemas Nichigeki, Screen 3 (2-5-1 Yurakucho, Chiyoda, Tokyo; located on the ninth floor of the Yurakucho Marion Building
 Application: Four hundred persons in 200 pairs will be invited by lottery.
