[KineJapan] New Hara Film

Roger's review is very interesting to me. He picks up on an aspect of the
Minamata, Sanrizuka and 311 films that rarely draws comment: that you
actually learn little about the background and details of the controversies
and scandals, while the focus is on more intimate and emotional stories of
communities of victims. I've often wondered the degree to which this is a
choice to construct a documentary built on implication (in opposition to
TV's documentary of explanation), or a mere assumption that the audience
already comes into the theater knowing what they need to know.

At least what's interesting here is that it's not just Hara's film.
