[KineJapan] New York 2019 Film Festival

The New York Film Festival, which runs from Sept. 27 to Oct. 13 this year,
has announced its main slate of films.  Two Japanese features have been
selected, Hiroshi Fukuda's *A Girl Missing *and Kiyoshi Kurosawa's *To the
Ends of the Earth*.  Three additional films from Asia will be included as
well: Bong Joon-ho's *Parasite *(South Korea, already scheduled to open at
the IFC Center shortly after the festival), Lou Ye's *Saturday Fiction
*(China),
and Diao Yinan's *The Wild Goose Lake *(China/France).  Screening dates
should be announced shortly.
