*Fall 2021 issue:* *“Engaging Asia: Film, Documentaries, and
Television"* [Seeking
Manuscripts]

The focus of this special section will be exclusively upon Asia-related
movies, documentaries, and television series appropriate for both students
and instructors. Particular attention will be given to visual media on
Asia-related topics that appear in school and undergraduate survey-level
courses, standards, and texts. A systematic effort will also be made to
introduce visual media from lesser-known Asian cultures, both to expand
course coverage of these cultures, and to illuminate their interactions
with better known areas of Asia and with the rest of the world. *The
deadline for initial receipt of manuscripts is May 20, 2021.*
