[KineJapan] Hara 1 & Hara 2

Criterion is streaming a bunch of Hara Kazuo films on their channel. They
asked me to jot down my thoughts about his career, and it got me rethinking
everything. I don't think I'm the only one who was thrilled by his first
films and disappointed with what came after the turn of the century.
Recently, I've come to see how it was less a turning point than a shift in
emphasize. Same Hara. Just a Hara 1 and a Hara 2. Check it out:
