Tomo was a brilliant filmmaker and teacher. I first met him in Jan 2018,
and then invited him to present his work at Penn, where we had a public
screening of about 7 short films in Fall 2021. I still teach *sound of a
million insects, light of a thousand stars* in almost every class. The news
is heartbreaking, and he will be very, very missed.
