Thank you all who identified the attractive caterpillar on the loosestrife!
I am disapointed that he will not grow up to be a large and colorful moth or
butterfly. But I am glad he has a good variety of food plants that he likes
because we have pulled up most of the loosestrife around our pond. And I am
very glad I can call him by name!
