Hi!
I wonder if it is appropriate to ask the members of the list to identify a
dragonfly for me. Although butterflies and moths are my favorite subjects, I
find it hard to sit at our pond all day and not take the pictures of passing
dragon and damsel flies.
For many years I have been naming them WITH MY OWN NAMES because I could not
find any guide for them. This year I found "The Dragonflies and Damselflies
of Algonquin Provincial Park" which is great. (The park is 60 miles north of
us, on the Canadian Shield).
The attached file is one (of the many) I can't identify. It flies every year
over our pond from July 25 to August 10, and then gone.
